Chuck Adams is the world’s best-known and most widely published bowhunter.  During the past 49 years, Chuck has written 6,200 magazine articles and 10 full-length books.  He received the Bowhunting World Reader’s Choice Award for 18 consecutive years as the most popular writer in that magazine, and has authored the four best-selling books in the history of archery.  Chuck was presented a doctorate degree from Penn State University for his landmark writing in the archery field.

Each spring, Chuck has delivered several dozen hunting seminars and keynote speeches at America’s largest sporting events, and signs an average of 10,000 autographs per year for fans.  He also makes guest appearances on outdoor television shows.

Chuck’s writing, appearances, and other promotional activities reach an average of 2.5 to 3 million people per month…a level of exposure unrivaled in the hunting industry.

On January 4, 1990, Chuck became the first archer in history to harvest all varieties of North American big game—a feat called the Super Slam®.  Chuck has bagged more Pope and Young record size trophies as any other hunter in history—226 at last count.  No one else is even close.  Chuck has broken archery World Records in Sitka Blacktail Typical, Velvet Sitka Blacktail Typical, Velvet Sitka Blacktail Non-Typical, Coues Whitetail, Mountain Caribou, American Bison, and American Elk categories…more P&Y World Records than anyone else.  His giant Montana elk was presented the Ishi Award, P&Y’s highest honor and only the 15th bestowed during the Club’s 40-year history.  Chuck has a special affection for hunting truly wild American bison, and has taken 9 of record-book size.  His 2020 Wyoming do-it-yourself bison required nine days of wilderness snow tracking in sub-zero weather, and is now the Wyoming state archery record and number 3 in P&Y.  Most recently, Chuck smashed the P&Y Velvet Sitka Blacktail Non-Typical Deer World Record taken on a DIY hunt in August 2022.

Chuck has 10 bow-bagged animals registered with the Boone and Crockett Club, and nearly 200 archery animals in Safari Club International’s bowhunting record book—more entries with each club than held by any other archer.  He has taken five Grand Slams on American deer, and has taken over 100 Pope and Young record-book deer, more than anyone else.  During a single 12-month period, Chuck bagged 13 official P&Y record-book animals…an all-time record for one year.  Eight of those were deer, including three giant whitetails.
